3 Up, 3 Down: Here's to McGehee

 
A quick glance at Saturday's most notable performers: 3 UP Casey McGehee , 2B, Brewers. Four hits. A home run. Five RBIs. Three runs scored. Yeah, McGehee can lead today's edition of three up, three down. Besides his great showing Saturday against the Cubs, McGehee is having an impressive week, tallying nine RBIs which give him 26 this season. He's hitting .375 in July after hitting .368 in June. Somebody buy McGehee a cold brew for his efforts. Jimmy Rollins , SS, Phillies. Though it may be premature to throw him a welcome back party, Rollins is showing signs of life. He went 1-for-3 with two RBIs on Saturday and has five hits in his last 12 at bats after that good ‘ole 0-for-28 slump. The Phillies have to face Johan Santana on Sunday. Brad Penny , SP, Red Sox. Penny hasn't won since June 17, but that doesn't mean he isn't doing his part. He was tagged with a no-decision in the Red Sox's 3-2 loss against Seattle.
