You may be questioning my maturity after reading that headline, but rest assured I'm just reporting the news (OK, I giggled a little). Anyway, the latest news is that Randy Johnson (pictured) and Chien-Ming Wang are both hurting, with Johnson in danger of a DL stint and Wang already on the shelf for 15 days.
The Big Unit left Sunday's game in the fourth inning with a left shoulder injury that the Giants are calling a strain , but we won't know the severity until results from Monday's MRI are revealed. Johnson apparently hurt the shoulder while batting in the third inning. He tried to continue pitching, but gave up two homers in the fourth and then committed a throwing error on a comebacker, his final play of the game.
If Johnson lands on the DL or misses a start, Jonathan Sanchez could temporarily return to the rotation. We'll keep you posted.
As for Wang, the Yankees have already placed him on the 15-day DL with a right shoulder strain. He allowed four runs over 6.2 ...
