Tim Lincecum has been scratched from tonight's start with back spasms.
Lincecum, 13-5 with a 2.34 ERA in 28 starts, had displayed noticeably less velocity on his fastball in recent starts, topping out at approximately 93-94 mph -- still effective, but a few miles per hour slower than usual. Manager Bruce Bochy expected Lincecum to only miss a few days. - MLB.com
Hopefully it is only a few days and he can make his next start, but fantasy owners will start sweating over every detail the comes out over the next day or so.

Phillies manager Charlie Manuel has shown the patience of a saint with scuffling closer Brad Lidge(notes) this season. But even the wacky Manuel is a man with limits, and we might be getting close to some sort of shuffle in the Philadelphia bullpen. Manuel essentially gave Lidge (7.15 ERA, 10 blown saves) a vote of confidence before Tuesday's game with Washington but the words didn't mean much once the ninth inning rolled around.
